Teddy Murphy is the founder and CEO at Miagen. He has been developing financial budgeting, planning, and forecasting models for over 30 years. Starting his career as a Management Accountant and later as a consultant, Teddy’s expertise has driven Miagen’s innovative approach to transforming finance through technology.

In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Brian ensures every engagement is delivered on time and to the highest standard. He also drives the company’s research and development efforts, helping solutions evolve in line with shifting market demands. By fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture, Brian empowers teams to exceed client expectations while charting sustainable growth. Prior to joining Miagen, Brian worked in the aviation sector and has 15 years of experience spanning leadership, management, financial strategy, and operational excellence. Brian holds an Honours Degree in Aviation Management from Dublin City University and is a Chartered Accountant.

As head of the finance department, Jane has guided Miagen through a period of substantial growth and transformation. Her leadership is underpinned by her commitment to financial excellence, strategic planning, and unwavering dedication to supporting the organisation’s objectives. Jane believes in a proactive and strategic approach to financial management. By anticipating challenges and opportunities, she strives to position Miagen for long-term success. Jane is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Consultant with over 15 years experience in the industry.

In her role as Commercial Director, Ciara drives all revenue generating activities at Miagen including business growth and market expansion strategies. She has successfully led cross-functional teams to drive profitability, enhance client relationships, and identify new business opportunities. Ciara focuses on contract negotiations and risk management, maximising efficiency, and delivering measurable results for our clients to ensure they remain competitive in evolving markets. Ciara is passionate about innovation and continuous improvement and is leading our ESG initiatives at Miagen. Prior to her current role, Ciara worked as a Senior Manager in EY’s FS Assurance practice. She holds a B.A. in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin, is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and is currently studying a Postgrad Certificate in Sustainable Development for Business at Trinity College Dublin.

Terrence oversees all aspects of model design and architecture. With a proven track record spanning a 10+ year career with Miagen and more than 30 large-scale implementations, he has developed a deep understanding of financial modelling across diverse business sectors. His ability to interpret client needs, design tailored solutions, and deliver complex financial models ensures exceptional outcomes. An expert in Workday Adaptive Planning, Terrence specialises in delivering transformative financial planning solutions that drive efficiency and accuracy. Terrence holds a B.Sc. in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Limerick and is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner, underscoring his commitment to technical excellence and project management.
